My Experience at Samsung Innovation Campus Batch 6
Participating in Samsung Innovation Campus (SIC) Batch 6 was a transformative journey that allowed me to explore the cutting-edge intersection of IoT and AI through real-world applications. As one of the selected participants out of over 10,000 applicants, I successfully passed all four rigorous stages—starting with coding and software prototyping, moving on to hardware prototyping, then integration, and finally project presentation. The program, held in collaboration with Hacktiv8 and facilitated by experienced mentors from the tech industry, challenged me to push the boundaries of what I thought was possible.
During the program, I engaged deeply in the development of a low-fidelity prototype using the ESP32 microcontroller and sensor-based data collection. The prototype integrated AI-powered analysis through platforms like Gemini and Hugging Face, with real-time visualization supported by Ubidots and Streamlit dashboards. Through this hands-on approach, I learned how to collect and transmit environmental data, analyze it with AI, and create a responsive system that could make intelligent decisions—such as triggering actuators based on predictive insights.
